Back in the AB

After 3 wonderful weeks in Ontario, I am home. My vacation was fantastic...relaxed on the beach, went to Ottawa for Canada Day, freaked out on the glass floor at the top of the CN tower, made some new friends, and, of course, got engaged! Let the wedding planning begin....

Here are some pictures from my trip:

This beach is only a minute walk from John's house.

After the proposal in Canatara Park.

Bright's Grove, the town John lives in, is a suburb of Sarnia. Instead of trying to compete with the Canada Day celebration in Sarnia, they had Canada Day in Bright's Grove on June 24th! This was the Shriners in the parade. There was even a party in the park and fireworks!

The Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.

We thought at first that this version of the Canadian flag contained blue because the Conservatives were trying to make a point but instead discovered that this is the "French-Canadian" flag. Is that right?!

Eating a little "street meat" in Ottawa with John's friends, Natasha & Noel.

Rideau Street in Ottawa was packed with people...this is a great party town!

We kinda figured it was his first time camping by just looking at his outfit! :)
