The Adventures of Wabamun

This past weekend, our annual camping trip was relocated to Wabamun. It was a great time and in an attempt to keep this entry short (because I am tired and lazy), I have summarized the weekend into these main points:

1. 2-6 Sundays are messy and enjoyable all at the same time. In case one is to repeat this challenge, stick to the lower alcohol contents (i.e. Malibu)...less likely to look dead at midnight and "fiesta" in the woods.
2. Dave gives his best speeches whilst drunk on the top of the cookhouse.
3. Best Sociables rule..."Every time I drink, Dave drinks"...always ends funny!
4. There is no Blair Witch in Wabamun but Dave will still freak out when Mike jumps out of the bushes.
5. Never wrestle in a field of thorns.
6. Solange and Joc make some weird noises in the morning.
7. Todd owns a house in St. Albert and has a car which he drives!
8. When the bathrooms seem too far, pee in the bush using Erin's "lean against a tree" method.
9. Don't swim in the water or go on the beach! There is goose poop everywhere.
10. Always camp with friends...it makes the bugs, dirt and lack of cleaniness tolerable.
